Dear Reader,
I’m thrilled to tell you that both my books are now out. I talked about the second edition of Murder Within Tent in my last email, and I hope you consider buying the second edition – it’s longer, it’s been edited and it introduces some of the characters from the second book.
It’s also available for a giveaway price on pre-order! I can’t list the book any lower than this (99p in the UK), and I’m doing this for loyal readers who want to re-visit the book and (I hope) leave a review, because all the reviews of the first edition have been wiped out.
If you do re-visit Bridget’s first adventure, you won’t have long to wait before starting the second - Extra Shot of Murder is out four days after MWiT. Perfect for Christmas. So what's the new book all about?
AT THE END of MWiT, Bridget has decided to stay in Byford. In XSM everything is going brilliantly until one of the new tenants at Ford Mill is murdered on the same day that Lucy loses the contract for making ice cream in Southport.
Bridget has no choice – she has to give notice, and then she finds herself investigating a murder as well. I can’t do justice to it here, so I’ll just give you some links. These are the links to Extra Shot of Murder.
I will put the two main links for Murder Within Tent at the bottom.
I’m also thrilled that when both books come out, so will the audiobooks. The awesome Tamsin Kennard has narrated both books and done a brilliant job. I can't provide links to the Audible page yet, but I’ll be back in touch in December.
The same goes for paperbacks – Amazon do not allow pre-orders for print-on-demand books. Presumably this is so they don’t end up having to commit an entire factory to one book (not mine!).
Anyway, Wombat needs feeding, so I’ll let you go. Hopefully you will now click on one of the links. If you don’t, you’ll never find out what happens to Bridget, will you? And that would be a shame.
Ruth.
