I am thrilled to announce the first translation of the King’s Watch – into German. It is being published on 19th September by Lindwurm books, part of the Bedey & Thoms publishing house. If German is your mother tongue, read on. If it’s not, then maybe you know someone for whom it is. If so, please tell them that Die 13. Hexe is out.
Ich habe mich sehr darüber gefreut als Oliver Hofmann aus dem Bedey und Thoms Verlag mich angesprochen hat.
Er ist ein weithin respektierter Übersetzer im Bereich Fantasy, was der Königswacht die Chance gibt neue Leser in Ländern zu finden, wo sie bereits auf Englisch beliebt ist.
Ich habe ein Beispiel der Übersetzung beigelegt, damit ihr hineinsehen könnt. Das Buch wird zunächst als gebundene Ausgabe sowie als ebook verfügbar sein. So weit ich weiss, arbeiten Bedey und Thoms auch mit potentiellen Hörbuchproduzenten zusammen - sobald es hierzu konkrete Neuigkeiten gibt, lasse ich es euch wissen.
